Your Wedding Day
Ridler DJ can provide your special music on a compact and portable sound set up for your Wedding Ceremony as you walk down the aisle and for during the register signing. We can follow that up with a perfect mixture of background and cocktail music for post-Ceremony, as well as canapes and during dinner. Then we’ve got your First Dance and the party with a professional and tidy set up which requires minimal space and all the music taken care of so you can relax and celebrate with your friends and family. We can work with you on the best option to suit your needs and suit the venue. Bookings can be made for the Whole Day or just the Reception.
We’ll play music that you and your guests know and we’ll cater for everyone at the party…from the parents to your grandparents and friends by playing a mix of songs to suit all tastes. We’re also happy to take requests on the day too!
From the initial enquiry to after the Wedding date, we’ll communicate with you all the way through and are only a phone call or email away. You’ll receive a quote promptly and we’re more than happy to discuss further and go over any details with you. If there’s any tweaks you’d like made then that’s easily done! You’ll also receive a web link to submit any songs you’d like played on the night, any you don’t wish to be played and a chance to specify any particular songs.
Before the day, we’ll get together to go over the music, the plan for the day, the timeline, specific needs etc.
We have professional, top-of-the-line sound and lighting equipment from internationally renowned companies including QSC, Denon, Pioneer, Apple, Chauvet, Antari and more. All equipment is regularly tested and updated to ensure the best quality and technology available. There is a range of lighting and effects available from up lights to moving lights, strobe lights, laser lights, bubble and smoke machines and much more.
We’ve worked in some of the finest Wedding venues across Auckland, the Waikato and beyond so have an idea of how most venues are laid out and what equipment may be required. If you’re planning an outdoor Wedding in a park, reserve or beach then we can cater to that too.

With the experience gained from a radio background and from the hundreds of events we've already done, if you need someone to act as your MC at your Wedding then we're more than happy to provide this service for you. Leave the gig to us and let friends and family sit back and enjoy the day with you without the extra pressure...plus it gives you one less thing to worry about it. We'll take care of all the formalities, time management and liaison between the venue, photographers etc and of course the guests to ensure everything runs smoothly and on time. Make A Wedding DJ Booking
Booking is super easy. You can call us or request a quote via our GET A QUOTE page. Just tell us what you are after, the type of event and any special requirements or ideas you might have and we’ll come back to you within 24 hours (often sooner). Then, if you are keen to book we’ll send you a link to our simple online booking form making it quick to lock it all in. We require a deposit to secure the date and payments can be made via internet banking or a Visa or Mastercard through secure online payment.
Want to add a little something extra to your celebration? We have a range of lighting and effects to make your event really pop! These include extra uplighting, firework effects, confetti cannons, bubble machines, smoke machines, a projector & screen for photos/video and much more.
